My Extreme Make-Over is Complete!
This week I went under the knife. Yep. I was scared, I was nervous, terrified actually. But my foster mom and dad were so kind to me. They calmed my fears and let me know that I was going to feel so much better. And you know what? I do!
Dr. Navin of All Pets Animal Hospital performed what CEBR calls the "Extreme Makeover". My treatments included:
- Double cherry eye tack
- Entropian correction on both eyes
- Tooth extractions and a complete dental
- Anal tumor removal (it's okay...it wasn't cancer)
- Tumor removal on my hind legs (that too was ok!) and several other growths removed
- Plus I finally received the spay surgery
My Heartworm Treatment Has Ended!
I can't quite say that I'm heartworm free yet, but my treatments have ended and I am now on a monthly dose of Heartguard. I will be rechecked in several months to be sure that there are no remaining worms. I have faith!
Thank you CEBR. You have brought me a long way. I'm going to keep my spirits high in the hope that I can put on some weight, make it through my last round of vetting, and find my forever home in the next few weeks.
